Film Portraiture

I've been loving stepping back in to film photography. I started my photography journey in 1974 with a Zorki 4K 35mm film camera. I know have 3 medium format cameras - MamiyaRB67 Mamiya645 and a Pentax67 all producing amazing result.
I am currently offering Studio Film Portraiture in a very film noir style. Based around Hollywood lighting of the 1940s, classics never die.

The process is as follows:
Complete the form below to book your sitting.
We then discus clothing options and confirm date/time of sitting.
During the sitting I will constantly be modifying the lighting to create the most suitable pose and lighting for you. These images will be taken using the very latest Canon R5 and views instantly on the large computer screen in the studio during the shoot.
Once I am happy with the composition and lighting i then will use the MamiyaRB67 to capture the final image.
I will repeat this process possibly two or three time maximum. Once I believe we have the image the sitting is complete.
I then send off the roll of 120 film to be developed.
The negatives come back for me to scan and edit.
The large digital file will be available via a private gallery for you to download and even print from the gallery. Or opt for the print service options.

For an additional fee you may also purchase the large colour digital edited files at £25 each. You can pick this option during the sitting whilst viewing the screen after the sitting.

Below are a few examples of this genre.
