Just had the pleasure of photographing Gavin Walters in action for the forthcoming Business publication for the Bridgend Council.

Gavin was working on a large order from the new Ynysawdre Comprehensive School at the time of my visit.

HW Powder Coating is based in Ogmore Vale and after two years trading, following redundancy he is going from strength to strength, we wish him every success.
You can reach Gavin at: www.hwpowdercoating.co.uk

This is the first in a series of images depicting dancers, gymnasts etc in every day situations performing, not very every day movements!

I have been inspired by an American photographer Jordan Matters. In this first series several of the scenes are based on Jordan's inspiration where as others are from my own creative ideas.

I will be developing a whole series of images along these lines. There will also be themes within a theme. For example I intend to create several sets of images where the backdrop of the town or city will play a large part within the composition. Title Bridgend Public Dancers, Cardiff Public Dancers etc.

The whole set will culminate in an exhibition of work, plus possible entry in to several artistic photographic competitions and even submissions for recognised photographic awarding bodies.

Each of these prints are available for purchase signed in 18in x 12in high quality photographic print paper at £25 each. For multiple purchases of two or more they become £20 each

I recently got invited to photograph the First Minister Carwyn Jones paying a visit to the recently opened branch of Clinithink a software producing company based in the medical field.

They have taken excellent office space on Derwen Road Bridgend. Here are just a few of the images produced for Clinithink

I had the pleasure of photographing the Dunraven Windows Awards on Friday 12th Oct 2012. Their guest of honour and a true gentleman was the talented Lee Halfpenny not just one of our most gifted Welsh rugby players but odds on to join the ranks of a British Lion next year!

I recently carried out a shoot for Steve Fisher the publican at the lovely Pelican Inn opposite the Ogmore Castle.
The pub has an excellent restaurant and superb bar areas. It offers outstanding food and it gives the feel of a warm friendly country pub.
I wanted to capture this atmosphere in the images I have taken for The Pelican.

I have attached a few samples here but the rest will be able to be viewed shortly on the updated web site of the Pelican Inn.

Recently I helped with the installation of an amazing handcrafted 12 seater Dining Table & Chairs for a friend and sculptor Craig Sheppard to the home of Gavin Henson.
I was commissioned to take some commercial shots for Craig and only in passing I asked Gavin would he pose for me for my web site. I was so impressed with his relaxed demeanour and his willingness to help us out. I hope he likes his picture now!
